Pattex Adhesives and Sealants in the UAE

Silicone and acrylic sealants

• Pattex SL212 General Purpose – acetoxy silicone for sanitary and construction joints. Mildew resistant, waterproof and resistant to UV. Available in transparent, white, black and grey.
• Pattex SF525 Kitchen & Bath Premium – anti-fungal acetoxy silicone for bathtubs, basins, shower cabins, kitchens and tiles. Not for porous stone such as marble, and not for use on mirror backing or copper and brass.
• Pattex FT101 – solvent-free, silicone-free multi-purpose sealant that can be painted after curing.
• Pattex SL100 – acrylic sealant for filling cracks and joints.

PL construction adhesives

• PL100 – water-based adhesive with high initial tack, mainly for indoor use on absorbent surfaces.
• PL150 – solvent-based adhesive for indoor and outdoor use; resistant to UV, weather and vibration. Not for joints under constant moisture.
• PL200 – polymer-based adhesive with high immediate tack that bonds and seals building materials inside and outside.
• PL250 – high-tack, flexible multi-purpose assembly adhesive for indoor and outdoor use.

Contact adhesives

• Pattex Classic contact adhesive (50 g tube) – polychloroprene contact adhesive for wood, laminates, rubber, metal, cork, rigid PVC, leather and foam.
• Pattex Contact Adhesive Premium (650 ml, 2.5 L and 3 L cans) – toluene-free contact adhesive for indoor and outdoor use, heat resistant up to 110°C.

PU foam

• Pattex Fix & Fill (500 ml and 750 ml) and Pattex Pro Max (750 ml) – moisture-curing foams for filling, sealing and bonding gaps, for example around door and window frames and pipes.

Mounting tape

• Pattex double-sided mounting tape, 19 mm x 1.5 m: 80 kg version for indoor use and 120 kg version for indoor and outdoor use. Ratings apply to smooth, flat surfaces; holding power is lower on other surfaces.

Glue and quick repairs

• Pattex Super Glue Liquid Control (3 g) and Instant Bond Gel (2 g) for small, fast repairs.
• Pattex Xtra Strong epoxy (11 ml) – two-part adhesive for strong repairs.
• Pattex MDF Kit – cyanoacrylate adhesive with activator that bonds in seconds; for MDF, wood, rubber, most plastics and leather.

Which Pattex product do I need?

Which Pattex sealant should I use for bathrooms and kitchens?
Use Pattex SF525 Kitchen & Bath, an anti-fungal silicone for bathtubs, basins, showers, kitchens and tiles. For general joints, Pattex SL212 General Purpose is suitable.

What is the difference between Pattex PL100, PL150, PL200 and PL250?
PL100 is water-based and mainly for indoor use on absorbent surfaces. PL150 is solvent-based for indoor and outdoor use. PL200 is polymer-based with high immediate tack. PL250 is a high-tack, flexible adhesive for indoor and outdoor assembly.

Can I paint over a Pattex sealant?
If the joint needs painting, choose Pattex FT101, which can be painted after curing.

How much weight can Pattex mounting tape hold?
The 80 kg tape is for indoor use and the 120 kg tape is for indoor and outdoor use. These ratings apply to smooth, flat surfaces; on other surfaces the holding power is lower.
